Bidar Fort is one of the most impressive and well-preserved forts in India, known for its majestic architecture, grand gateways, wide bastions, and breathtaking hilltop views. Built in the 15th century by the Bahmani Sultanate, the fort stands as a symbol of Bidar’s rich royal past. Surrounded by deep moats and massive red laterite stone walls, the fort complex contains palaces, audience halls, secret passages, royal baths, ancient cannons, and beautiful mosques.

Inside the fort, the Rangin Mahal showcases exquisite Persian tile work and intricate wood carvings, making it one of the most artistic palaces of medieval India. The Solah Khamba Mosque, with its 16 iconic pillars, is another highlight located within the fort premises.
