Marking its golden jubilee celebrations with a remarkable feat, Guru Nanak Public School, located near Nehru stadium in Bidar, has entered the Guinness World Records for organising the largest event of people solving Rubik’s Cube simultaneously.
The record-breaking event was held at the sports ground of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, on November 9 where 5,434 students participated, surpassing the previous record of 3,997 participants set by a Chennai-based school in 2018.
The event was officially adjudicated by Swapnil, a representative of Guinness World Records, who confirmed the achievement and lauded the participants. “To set a Guinness World Record, one must surpass the previous benchmark. It often takes multiple attempts, but Guru Nanak Public School has achieved this feat on its very first attempt – a truly exceptional accomplishment.
